The gates of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre closed on Friday and the biggest event of the year, Drupa 2016, came to a successful end. This year’s turnout was enormous, both from exhibitors, who presented in all 19 exhibition halls, and from visitors, of whom over 260,000 came to Drupa. The biggest magnets on our stand were the Spotmatic 54 machines for partial UV coating with 3D effects, the imiJET BE 70 for printing book block trim and the equipment for applying metallic or transparent film by transferring the film onto surfaces printed with digital toner. In addition to these exhibits, other new products were on display at our booth:
- Sagitta 52 laminating machine adapted for laminating sheets with cut-out windows
- Amiga 76 laminator with flying knife and the possibility of laminating PSA film and OTF (Over Toner Foiling)
- last but not least, the Sirius 107 laminator equipped with a linear hot knife with the possibility of laminating metallic foil or corrugated board processing.
We also collected positive reactions to the eye-catching design of the stand, fine-tuned to the last details, starting with the outfit of the implementation team, including name tags, to samples of processed printed materials with the same graphics.
