Machine Characteristics
- Amiga 52 Tandem Emboss comes out of the well-known and proven concept of the Amiga laminator. Thanks to modular design, the embossing module is in fact “inserted” between the laminating unit and separator of standard Amiga.
- The solution, with two processing units in a row, makes it easy to switch from standard single side lamination to embossing, which creates a special pattern on the laminated surface.
- Works reliably also for double sided lamination in two passes.
- Seven standard patterns available. Special patterns on demand only.
- First unit for lamination is always activated and works with IR heated cylinder. Second unit is activated only when embossing is needed. The pattern is created due to sheet preheating before the processing unit and high pressure of PUR roller pressed to the structured cylinder. The cooling of the embossing cylinder helps to “freeze” the pattern to the laminated substrate.
Basic configuration
- Feeder: Komfi single action head, sheet overlap sensor, adjustable blowers.
- Laminating Unit: Adjustable stoppers, side adjustable unwind shaft, spread roll, IR heating, precise temperature control, rubber and PUR pressure rollers.
- Embossing Unit: Sheet preheater, external cooling, pneumatic pressure system.
- Separator & Delivery: Decurling unit, built-in perforator, cam-driven roller, skewing wheel, adjustable snapping speed, fixed delivery desk.
SW functions included
- Stop on the sheet overlap to avoid waste sheets.
- Zero overlap possibility for processing thick substrates.
- Pressure and temperature drop detection to prevent irregularity in lamination quality.
- End of job function for easy rewind of film.
- Sensor for sheet separation detection and jam detection.

Options
- Lamination Prep: Sheet preheater, PUR pressure roller for durability, Teflon roller for non-stick surface.
